A lot of people have asked me how Mattie has been with Calvin.

The first few days she was terrified of him. The first few weeks she was mildly irritated by his crying, but intrigued by his toys. Within the first month she began showing signs of concern when he cried, and discovered that his hands, feet and head are very lickable. And during the second month she started laying next to him on his play mat, watching over him while he sat in his bouncy seat, and looking visibly worried when he was upset.

Now, in the third month, she's figured out that he might be kind of fun.

In fact, the other day she brought both of her balls to Calvin and dropped one in his bouncy seat and one on the ground...and then waited for him to throw them.

It was so cute.

They are going to be such good friends.
