Glimpsing the future.

Nate took this picture of Calvin tonight. When I saw it, my jaw about hit the floor.

He looks...old.

I feel like I've been given a glimpse of what my son might look like down the road — as a first grader, a junior higher, a teenager. It both freaks me out and makes me smile.

He'll be cute when he's big.

And hopefully he'll still be into wearing polo shirts. Nothing I fear more than a goth phase. Except maybe a foray into socks with sandals.

what about wife beaters and a gold chain? that's scary, too. luckily it says in the bible...train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. excellent parenting starting the polo at such a young age.

He does look old in that picture! He will be a very handsome big boy too. I am definitely a fan of the polo and will start praying against all things goth. :)
